Globeroller

Globerollers was a major method of long-haul land transport for Venusians and goods on Venus circa 3 billion BC. One such globeroller consisted of a high yellow vertical wheel, 70 feet in diameter and 30 feet across, with a five-sided wooden deck which had five smaller masts at each corner and a tall mast just forward of the wheel.

Ian Chesterton was once smuggled out of the city of Bikugih on the globeroller Accepter of the Wind, bound for Inarihib. While searching for Ian, Barbara Wright and Fefirhi Trikhobu asked the loader if he was on the Dawnwind Rider, bound for Conorihib. (PROSE: Venusian Lullaby)
