The petrol forests were located on the road between Bikugih and Inarihib, on Venus. The plants there excreted petrol, which meant that the petrol burned during the day, making the way completely impassable. Having escaped from the Rocketeers aboard the globeroller the Dawnwind Rider, Ian Chesterton found himself in the petrol forests as they began to burn, but he was saved by Henefenhut.
