Recent Addition[[edit]]

"In 2021, David recorded Andrew Ross Hay's six part audio story, The Thirteenth Dimension for Hospital Radio Productions, in which he played an alternate Thirteenth, and final incarnation of The Doctor."

The above was recently added to the page without any comment as to the licensed or non-licensed nature of the project. I have moved here until I can determine this and better word the result. (if it is to be kept; I'm not sure where we would lie on making note productions finally featuring an individual for whom we already had a rather complicated situation for determining their status as cast. I'd assume NPoV would allow for it, but that's something better left for an admin to comment on.)

I suspect it is unlicensed, but wish to be thorough. Additionally to that, I'm struggling to find any listings or information for said project. Even looking for the production company only gives me a sparse Soundcloud account at present.

I would also like to politely note that the editor who added the item in question is Andrew Ross Hay himself. As such, either way, T:WIKIFY OWN likely applies to this matter in some sense - editors involved in unlicensed charity anthologies and Lockdown Fan Gallery abstaining from notating anything on the Wiki about their specific story comes to mind as a precedent for even additions of mentions of unlicensed notable content not being added by someone involved in those.

As such, it is worth saying that they probably should not be the one to add any of this back to the page once the matter is resolved (in whatever way it is). JDPManjoume 12:41, 16 July 2021 (UTC)

Further note, given another edit now made but undone for foreseeable;

"It currently remains in production but all of David's scenes have been recorded. Andrew Ross Hay assured any doubters about the validity of this project that he would be happy to send them all the proof required."

This now brings in T:SPOIL considerations regardless of the licensing situation. I must also note that Andrew Ross Hay has again added the above item - as well as being an unsourced statement of assurance, he is also quoting himself onto the page rather than approaching the talk page, which raises questions for admin staff to handle re. NPoV and NO SELF REF.

I've left a message on User:DrWho1963's talk page about this. It's a bit of a wash whether T:SPOIL applies to unlicensed productions, but since we're not quite sure whether this is licensed anyway, let's not tempt fate. Scrooge MacDuck 15:26, 16 July 2021 (UTC)
