An inspection panoptic was one of the items in Quadrigger Stoyn's workcase which he used to work on the Doctor's TARDIS shortly before the First Doctor first stole the ship. Susan used the device to image her surroundings when she landed on Earth's moon, their first stop after leaving Gallifrey. (AUDIO: The Beginning)
