Copeland was interested in Josiah Morton's collection and kidnapped Polly Wright after attacking Ben Jackson. He wanted information from her about what was in the collection and the household. He broke into the house and stole a necklace. He died after touching some poisonous liquid. (AUDIO: The Morton Legacy)
