Species[[edit source]]

The sisterhood of karn originated on gallifrey so that makes them gallifreyan. But they can't be timeladies or the doctor wouldn't be the last of his species. So what species are they? The preceding unsigned comment was added by BjDelaware (talk • contribs) .

Gallifreyan[[edit source]]

IIs it really accurate to describe the Sisterhood as a Gallifreyan society? Jack "BtR" Saxon 15:52, 6 December 2021 (UTC)

Yeah... do you think something like "Gallifrey-descended society" or "society of Gallifreyan origin" would work better? Or something along those lines. Danochy 01:12, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
I don't actually know the details, story-wise, but if you guys think that's an accurate description, go for it. Shambala108 01:19, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
I'm not super familiar with Sisterhood lore, but the first paragraph in the history section does indicate that they come from Gallifrey:
The Sisterhood was a remnant of the Pythia's power. The Sisterhood were sent by the last Pythia from Gallifrey to the planet Karn after the Great Schism. (PROSE: Cat's Cradle: Time's Crucible) They had been banished from Gallifrey by Rassilon. (AUDIO: Light the Flame)
And so using the term Gallifreyan in the lead would likely be referring to the planet rather than the species. Danochy 01:24, 7 December 2021 (UTC)
