After the Thirteenth Doctor used a method she found on Spacebook to summon "the magic of pantomime" to a 21st century panto venue, various real versions of famous pantomime characters were "snatched" from their homes and brought there. These included a Genie with his magic lamp, who said he came froma nother realm, to which he would automatically return once he had graned the traditional three wishes to the Doctor.
