Psycho-wavelengths were monitored by the Preternatural Research Bureau in 2020 as part of Operation World Salad. They allowed them to forecast a V-Time surge and, later, to detect a Cyberon distress call and pinpoint its source. (PROSE: The Blue Scream of Death)
