Lila Kreeg's mother often threatened her with Daleks when she was a girl and at least once told her that she hated her. She and her husband were arguing about Lila when she decided to leave home.
When a failed test run of Project Yellow Brick caused Lila's life to flash before her eyes, she saw her mother tell her that she hated her and her parents' argument. The Bruce Master told her that she did not need either of them. (AUDIO: Faustian)
