The Shoreditch Incident was an event which occurred in 1963 and written about in detail by ex-UNIT officer Hamlet McBeth (in a book of the same name).
The Incident surrounded two Dalek forces landing in the central London district attempting to gain access to the Hand of Omega. (DW: Remembrance of the Daleks)
