History
The UNIT website contained pages on the history of the organisation, classified resources, and a visual interface control of many worldwide weapons arsenals.
Mickey Smith accessed the secure section of the website, with the password of "buffalo", to fire a missile at 10 Downing Street to stop the Slitheen from destroying planet Earth. (TV: World War Three)
Shortly before the Sycorax invasion of Earth, Mickey accessed the website again and saw the military was tracking the Sycorax spaceship headed for Earth. Later, Mickey and Rose Tyler watched a video message from the Sycorax on the website. Rose noticed the TARDIS wasn't translating their Sycoraxic speech like it usually did for alien languages. The BBC Web Team created a real-life version of the in-universe UNIT website, which is available at unit.org.uk. This website includes six sections: UNIT history, press releases, conferences, publications, news and one secure section, an ops board, which contains information about past UNIT operations and reports.
