In Barusa's universe, the Time Explorers were the earliest Time Lord explorers to set out into the wider universe in early, experimental TARDISes. Many were stranded in time, unable to find their way back to the Domed City of Gallifrey. Among them was the Doctor's father, Ulysses. (PROSE: The Chronicles of Doctor Who?)
