Recall[[edit] | [edit source]]

In late 2014, BBC Worldwide announced a voluntary recall of disc 2 of the Blu-ray edition (the disc containing The Day of the Doctor) citing encoding errors in the disc's production. Replacement discs were sent to fans on receipt of the original disc.

Reissue[[edit] | [edit source]]

In 2021, the set was reissued in a collector's Steelbook set as "Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary Collection". The content of these discs is identical, and the set came with the corrected disc 2.
