Silo 16
Silo 16, more often just called the Silo, was the place on Malcassairo from which the last of the humans launched a rocket on their journey to Utopia in 100 trillion. The name suggests that there may have been more siloes on the planet. Before the launch, it had served for what seems to have been a long time as a waiting area and "sanctuary" of sorts for humanity. The Futurekind tribe, who hunted and apparently ate humans, were not allowed inside Silo 16. One method of verifying that entry was only given to humans was to examine the entrants' teeth, allowing the guards to look for the sharp teeth of the Futurekind, those who have normal square teeth wore granted entry as they are concerned as ordinary humans, those with the sharp teeth wore denied entry or shot as they would be concerned as members of the tribe, Despite this, at least one Futurekind tribeswoman somehow got into the Silo, delaying the launch of their rocket, she was later shot by security.
