Dr Melton was a GP in Cardiff. Although Colin Colchester-Price asked the Disaster Recovery Committee to arrange for healthcare professionals to tend to the refugees following the tsunami, they were unable to. Dr Melton volunteered to help after her shift. (AUDIO: A Mother's Son)
