Background

After graduating with a doctorate in particle physics in the summer of 1966, Amelia Stone turned her back on the world of science when news of her parents death reached her during her graduation ceremony. She subsequently became a hippie, touring round music festivals until, along with her boyfriend, Moon, she accidentally came across the abandoned village where The Analysis Bureau is based.
