This topic might have a better name.

Lop way-station, as the location is perhaps more relevant (and permanent) than its owner. I have named other way-stations similarly, and it seems to work better that way.

Talk about it here.

Yeng ran a way-station in the town of Lop. (PROSE: Marco Polo) Like all way-stations in Cathay, it provided accommodation and provisions to those who wore the gold seal of Kublai Khan. (TV: "The Roof of the World") It also served as a hotel. (PROSE: Marco Polo)

In 1289, the way-station provided a few days of accommodation for the First Doctor, Susan, Ian, and Barbara, as well as Marco Polo's caravan as they rested on their journey to Shang-Tu from the Plain of Pamir. (TV: "The Roof of the World")
