Toshiko Sato's grandfather was born in Japan, and worked for Bletchley Park. (TV: Greeks Bearing Gifts) In the late 2000s, he celebrated his 88th birthday, a joyous year for the Japanese. Before she got stranded in the Ritz dance hall in 1941, Tosh intended to celebrate the occasion by "[going] off to London to watch grown men throw rice". (TV: Captain Jack Harkness)
