The Zen Military - A History of UNIT was a book written by Kadiatu Lethbridge-Stewart and published in 2006. It revealed that UNIT had its roots in the Intrusion Countermeasures Group. (PROSE: Remembrance of the Daleks, Christmas on a Rational Planet) Her descendant, also named Kadiatu, had read the book. (PROSE: Set Piece) T. E. Hamster mentioned the book and its author in his opinion piece "Take Me Down To Paradise Towers": Reclaiming Kroagnon: Democratic accountability and the Defence of the Past, published in the Journal of Presentism and Transtemporal Mendacity, but was unable to mention the author by name "pending litigation".
