The International Electromatics Automated Technical Support Service, or IE ATSS for short, was an "automated product technical support service" powered by MediaPlay. The readers of Defending th Earth! spoke with the service to troubleshoot the radio belonging to "ChatGuest1", eventually fixing the radio by getting ChatGuest1 to press the FM button twice.
