== Template:Semi-protect on fully locked pages?==

The TIme of Angels is currently fully locked, but only the Semi-protect template is included there. And I've seen that on at least one other page, but I can't remember which.

This leads to confusion for people who don't understand why they can't understand the page. And it could even reduce the chances that people who can edit the page will look for requests for changes on the talk page (and performing those changes and/or responding), although I'm just speculating there.

I know that, as of a few years ago, it was a long-standing problem on Wikipedia that there was no way to ensure that protection templates actually match the protection status. Has that problem still not been resolved? --Falcotron 21:30, April 27, 2010 (UTC)
