Gendry Temple-Noble was an old television reporter with a bushy grey moustache, who worked alongside Pete Lannister. Together, they covered the "player transfers" between Doctor Who and Game of Thrones, most notably Mark Gatiss and Maisie Williams, Lannister being the main presenter who then asked Temple-Noble for his educated opinion. Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

  • In allusion to the subject of the skit, which was the shared cast members and perceived rivalry between Doctor Who and Game of Thrones, Gendry's is the married name of Donna Noble from televised Doctor Who but also shares his first name with the bastard son of Robert Baratheon portrayed by Joe Dempsie from Game of Thrones. It is unclear if Gendry Temple-Noble is actually meant to be related to Donna in-universe, however, as this would cause obvious and severe timeline troubles if so.
