Speed Boost was an item which was acquired and utilised by a Dalek as it fought to escape the Vault, enabling it elude rows of Sentry Units and escape bulkheads before they could close. (NOTVALID: The Last Dalek)
Behind the scenes
The Speed Boost was identified in the video game The Last Dalek, based on TV: Dalek. It was acquired in Level 8.
In the original episode, however, the "Metaltron" never demonstrates a noticeable increase in speed.
