Noel’s Saturday Roadshow (TV story) was a BBC1 light entertainment variety show that ran between 1988 and 1990, thus being largely concurrent with Sylvester McCoy's tenure as the Seventh Doctor. It was the medium of the release of a special Doctor Who sketch in 1988, the so-called "Clown Court special".

In addition, three and a half minutes of footage spread throughout 16 September, 1989 episode of The Noel Edmonds Saturday Roadhsow (written by Edmons and directed by Michael Leggo) featured another crossover between the two series. The Seventh Doctor materialised in front of host Noel Edmonds, claiming he needed help repairing the TARDIS, whose cyclismic energy cells and peon particle appropriator have developed an electro-magnetic echo.

When Edmonds (who instead tries to get information about his future in the far-off year of 2014 out of the Doctor) confesses that he has no idea what that even means, an unconcerned Doctor instead beckons David Banks's Cyber-Leader out of the TARDIS, revealing that he has hired the Cyberman to fix the ship, instead. After the Doctor succeeded in restarting the TARDIS, the Cyberman was left behind and replaced Edmons, inviting viewers to tune in next week for the "Cyberman Saturday Roadshow".
