Mind

The mind was the consciousness of a sentient being. The term was sometimes used interchangeably with brain.

According to the First Doctor, "the mind was indestructible". (PROSE: The Celestial Toymaker)

Historians who had been allowed access to the "Monster Vaults" of the databanks in the Doctor's TARDIS observed that Abzorbaloffs absorbed the minds of their victims as it assimilated their brains into its flesh.
