Chief Inspector Robert Lines was working for them.
When Jay and Heidi Stafford where looking for their son Ashley the West Ealing Police was trying to find him. It later turned out that neither Jay, nor Heidi nor Asheley Stafford existed as these identities were all made up by Mr Smith and some members of the Slitheen family. (PROSE: The Lost Boy)
