Instructions for {{Iw}}

{{Iw}} — meaning "Inter-Wiki" — is a template that allows you to make quick inline links to other wikis. For interwiki links in the external links section of articles, please use {{iwx}} instead.

To use {{iw}}, simply follow this format:

{{iw|fandom base url|page name|display name}}

where

• "fandom base url" means the part of the url prior to fandom.com
• "display name" is an optional name that you wish to show to the reader

Therefore:

{{iw|jamesbond|The Spy Who Loved Me (film)|The Spy Who Loved Me}}

results in The Spy Who Loved Me. To properly italicise the results, however, use standard wikitext markup, thus:

''{{iw|jamesbond|The Spy Who Loved Me (film)|The Spy Who Loved Me}}''

to give, The Spy Who Loved Me.
