Condo was the servant of Mehendri Solon, who had rescued him from a Dravidian starship that had crashed on Karn. Solon then forced Condo into servitude by amputating the latter's left arm and replacing it with a hook, then falsely claiming that Condo could earn back the limb through good service. Unbeknownst to Condo, Solon had no intention of fulfilling his promise, having grafted the arm onto a patchwork body intended to house Morbius' brain.

Condo rebelled against Solon when his master offered him as a sacrifice to the Sisterhood in exchange for the Fourth Doctor, an offer that was rejected. Soon after, he discovered that Solon had used his arm for the patchwork body intended for Morbius, and was enraged. In the scuffle that followed, Morbius' brain was knocked to the floor and Condo was shot several times by Solon in retaliation. Severely wounded, he later saved the life of Sarah Jane Smith from the Morbius creature at the cost of his own life. He was killed in the struggle that followed. (TV: The Brain of Morbius)
