Cynthia Grenville (7 April 1931-21 November 2021[1]) played Maren in the Doctor Who television story The Brain of Morbius.

She shared her memories of the story on the documentary Getting A Head.

Grenville was named by Gary Russell as his preferred choice to play the Pride Mother in an imaginary film version of his 1995 Virgin Missing Adventures novel, Invasion of the Cat People.
