Florence Stoker

Florence Stoker, née Florence Bascombe, (COMIC: Dead Man's Hand) was the wife of Bram Stoker. She was a vampire who was shielded from sunlight by bats during the day. She was the inspiration for her husband's novel, Dracula. For twenty years she was protected by her husband after becoming affected by a former lover, Oscar Wilde, before the Tenth Doctor prepared an antidote which cured her. (COMIC: Bat Attack!)

Behind the scenes[[edit] | [edit source]]

While in real life Florence Stoker's maiden name was "Balcombe", in the comic Dead Man's Hand, it is misspelled as "Bascombe".
