George Roberts (PROSE: Doctor Who and the Cave-Monsters) was a technician at the Wenley Moor nuclear research facility.

Biography[[edit] | [edit source]]

While assisting in experiments with the cyclotron, Roberts fell under the influence of the Silurians and refused to shut it down.

By one account, he attacked Phyllis Dawson when she tried shutting it down herself, but was knocked out by the Brigadier; (TV: Doctor Who and the Silurians) by another account, he tried to strangle Liz Shaw and was killed when Major Barker hit him over the head with a revolver.   • Roberts' first name, George, is never mentioned on-screen; it is used only in Malcolm Hulke's novelisation.
