Sylvian Capple was a resident of Christmas approximately 750 years into the Eleventh Doctor's residency. At one point, he was controlled by the Mara and attempted to kill the Doctor in the Christmas Tavern, but only succeeded in ruining his Stetson. (PROSE: The Dreaming)
