Custodian (Dead Drop)

The Custodian was a hyper-dreadnought ship, which was thirty clics end-to-end, contained thirty decks and ran on warp propulsion. It led the Dyarid Primary Vanguard fleet against the Chtzin army in the Hyspero system.

The ship itself was run by Admiral Salaron, and some of its crew included Ensign Roaig and Lieutenant Paley. The Dyarid High Command, led by the Premier, placed extremely powerful telepath Jamela K'lynn in the position of Supreme Command. K'lynn would severly punish those who failed in their jobs, one such person being Captain Galazar. After leading three fighter squadrons into enemy territories without autorisation, K'lynn used her telekenesis to explode his mind, warning Salaron to not make a similar mistake.

For this reason, Salaron and a syndicate of like-minded individuals became concerned about K'lynn's role with the Custodian and the Primary Vanguard and called upon Vienna Salvatori to assassinate her. After tricking K'lynn into committing suicide, Vienna accidentally caused the warp drive to fail, setting the Custodian onto a deadly path into Hyspero's sun. Without the neural network created by K'lynn, Roaig, who had been a Chtzin sleeper agent, couldn't allow them to succeed in their mission, causing the ship to fail warp and tear in two.
