Callum McCrimmon was the owner and chief executive of the McCrimmon Oil Company in the 1970s. His nickname by colleagues and workers was "Big Cal".
He'd been reluctant to allow his daughter Edwina McCrimmon to become part of the company but after some time he had begrudgingly acknowledged her level of competence. (PROSE: Harvest of Time)
