Bob Chilcott was an innkeeper and the employer of Clara Oswin Oswald in the late 19th century. He operated The Rose & Crown in London.

Months after Clara left his employ in 1892, Bob was unaware that, following her departure from his regular employ, Clara assumed the name "Miss Montague", affected an RP accent, and secured an appointment nearby as the governess of Captain Latimer's children. Despite this, Bob was nevertheless able to contact her and convince her to return temporarily to fill in for another barmaid for a brief period before Christmas 1892. She left him again on the morning of Christmas Eve, despite his pleas. (TV: The Snowmen)
