Dan Slott (born 3 July, 1967) is a comic book professional best known for his work at Marvel Comics. He is a lifelong Doctor Who fan and made an appearance on The Fan Show in 2015. He is currently writing a series of special issues for Titan Publishing Group's line of Doctor Who comics.

At one point in his career, he pitched a crossover with Spider-Man in which Peter Parker would become the Doctor's companion, but despite enthusiasm from the BBC, this was turned down by Marvel.
