  • This issue begins an introductory comment by new-editor Moray Laing signed 'Moray' – replacing the previous letters from the Doctor.
  • This issue continued to feature Blip.it pages that unlocked extra content when used with the blip.it app for portable devices (including the cover and next issue pages).
  • A Sontaran can be disabled by a blow to its probic vent located at the back of its neck.
  • The Silence were created so that people could confess their sins and then forget!
  • Handles was the nickname to the Doctor's decapitated Cyberhead and companion of the Eleventh Doctor.
  • The TARDIS console room used for The Time Monster was used only for this story.
  • The Snowmen was the first episode to have a continuous shot of someone entering the TARDIS and the walking around the console room.
