Doctor Who - Series 12 - Revolution of the Daleks (Original Television Soundtrack) was a one-disc album that featured selections from the score of the series 12 Doctor Who, Revolution of the Daleks . The music was composed by Segun Akinola.

Notes

  • Due to the album's release during the Coronavirus pandemic, the album was released on digital platforms on 2nd January 2021. Segun Akinola did however confirm at the time of the digital release that a later physical release would occur at some point.[1] On 23 September 2022, Akinola tweeted that the physical release would be on the CD release of the Series 13 soundtrack on 11 November 2022.[2]
  • This album is currently the record for the shortest time between airing of the last episode from which the score cues derive (in this case, the only episode) and the release of the album, at just four hours between airing and release.
  • On 22 January 2021, Segun Akinola confirmed on Twitter[3] that a digital booklet[4] was available for download from the Silva Screen website.
  • The track "Thank You For Being My Friend" was featured on Spotify's "Soundtracked"[5] playlist on 8 January 2021.[6] The playlist describes itself as "The latest, greatest soundtracks from the big and small screen". The same track has been added to various other playlists such as "Cinematic Chillout" and "Classical New Releases".
