Name of this Article[[edit source]]

There are 400 or so pages that link to "BBC". Rather than going through every one of them to figure out which should be "British Broadcasting Corporation" (which will be most of them) can we have something like "BBC (Doctor Who Universe)"?--Nyktimos 21:44, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

I don't see why we can't merge the two articles. Many other "real world" entities have a ==Behind the Scenes== section that talks about them outside of the Whoniverse. Monkey with a Gun 23:11, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
It's a possibility. Though really technically speaking BBC does stand for British Broadcasting Corporation in the real world, whilst within the Doctor Who universe it's more often than not just referred to as the BBC. I'm in favour of leaving it as it is, it's not much of an extra step to read the note at the top of the article. 400 isn't that many articles to change when you put it into perspective, it's not a complicated job at any rate, copy British Broadcasting Corporation|BBC, then past over BBC on all the relevant articles (it's not a particularly interesting thing to do, but it is doable). --Tangerineduel 14:43, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

This mess was finally sorted out per Thread:141287. Shambala108 21:03, August 23, 2019 (UTC)
