Edward Highmore (born 3 April 1961[1]) played Malkon in the Doctor Who television story Planet of Fire.

He is the father of actor Freddie Highmore, best known for playing Charlie Bucket in Tim Burton's 2005 film version of Roald Dahl's book Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
