Robot of Sherwood

Okay. Big one. Should Robot of Sherwood be included here? The Twelfth Doctor recognises its robots as "like the Half-Faced Man, but more sophisticated", so as a viewer I always took it as read that they were a more evolved version of the sape (non-)species, but our coverage so far doesn't seem to reflect this, I am now realising.
