Mr Ryan was a hospital patient Rory Williams attended to in a December in the early 21st century. He had his legs trapped in a toilet. When Rory called out his name, he said of the toilet, "Again?" Rory wheeled Ryan away in his wheelchair while the robot girl watched. (TV: The Power of Three)
