Verdigast

General Verdigast was a human military officer on a Cassiopeian colony. He fought a war against a rival colony led by Commander Morella Wendigo. He planned to travel to Corinth Minor and secretly broker peace with the enemy, which would lead to the colonies joining forces to create the Corinth Compact, an unstoppable empire. However, Uglosi was warned of Verdigast's plans by a time traveller three months in advance, and instead Verdigast was killed when Wendigo detonated a bacteriological weapon in Corinth Minor's troposphere.
