What is correct date of death?

Multiple online sources such as the IMDb say 26th July; this article says 24th July. Which is it? EDIT: Indisputable sources such as the BBC say 26 July so I will correct the article accordingly. 68.146.70.124talk to me 19:12, February 6, 2014 (UTC)

I'd imagine that you'd actually have to do some secondary research i.e. from the undertakers or wherever her funeral was, to get a definitive date. Silent Hunter UK 19:15, February 6, 2014 (UTC)

  • I didn't notice that the Radio Times actually issued a correction, so never mind. 68.146.70.124talk to me 19:16, February 6, 2014 (UTC)
Yeah, just about every obituary out there — such as this one, for example — is dated to the 26th and says she died then. Good catch, 68.

The Radio Times article (referenced on the page) was published on the 26th (a Thursday), but does clearly state that she had died on Tuesday (the 24th). As our article is written right now, it gives two conflicting dates. As the Radio Times article seems to be the most authoritative reference we have at the moment, I'm going to make the other dates consistent accordingly. If another source reasonably determines otherwise, it can certainly be adjusted at that time. Spreee 15:31, September 2, 2014 (UTC)Spreee
