Talk:Sylvester McCoy
Birthday trivia[[edit source]]
I removed the notation that Sylvester McCoy has the same birthday as Sophie Aldred and Anthony Ainley. Trivia like this certainly doesn't belong in the lead, and it likely doesn't belong in the article either.
In the first place, we now have date pages dedicated to noting these coincidences. If you're looking to see who he shares a birthday with, it's much, much better to go to 20 August (people).
In the second, with as many people as have worked in the DWU, there are tons of these coincidences every day of the year, and it's a matter of entire subjectivity to note them on actors' pages. I just don't think we want to get in the business of noting on every single actor's page what other actors share their birthday. How "big" a name do you have to be before the notation is irrelevant? Why isn't it also noteworthy to say that he shares a birthday with David Walliams or James Marsters?

Scottish[[edit source]]
How is Peter Capaldi the first Doctor to use a Scottish accent since McCoy? Eccleston maybe? I'm thinking he's probably a bit Scottish?– The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.49.131.104 (talk).
- I'll copy/paste my answer from the same question you asked at Talk:Peter Capaldi:
- Do you have any proof? Both IMDB and Wikipedia (not valid sources here) say Eccleston's English.Shambala108 ☎ 14:15, June 5, 2014 (UTC)
