The Dream Lord was the dark side of the Doctor, who seems to have control over dreams. He was created by psychic pollen working as parasites on the Doctor's inner darkness. Despite the Doctor having confronted him, as he looked into his reflection, the Dream Lord's face appeared, smiling slyly at him.
