User:SOTO/Forum Archive/Inclusion debates/@comment-45692830-20200723133026/@comment-6032121-20200724155523 In my opinion, the quote makes it clear that the intent is for the entire book to cohere as a novel; it's inconvenient that there's no direct reference in the 13/Yaz frame story to the jokes around them, but the sheer presentation of the thing is, I think, pretty clear on the matter. I'm still in favour of considering the thing a "(novel)".
