Could you reiterate and amplify your point here, please? I'm not aware of that many Third Doctor stories where there's literally no UNIT. Remember, Jo and Liz are both UNIT employees, so the only televised stories without UNIT are Death to the Daleks and The Curse of Peladon.

Bessie, conversely, misses a number of televised stories. Basically, there are UNIT stories without Bessie, but there are no Bessie stories without UNIT.
