John Bromley was a technician who worked at the Inferno Project at Eastchester during the 1970s.

While monitoring the Project's power output, Bromley was knocked out by the Primord that had been Harry Slocum. The brief contact infected him and he also mutated into a Primord.
He was killed when the Third Doctor sprayed him with a fire extinguisher. (TV: Inferno)

- Bromley's first name John is only mentioned once on-screen: during the conversation between him and Slocum in episode one, in which Slocum calls him John.
