{{Welcome}}

It's nice to have yet another editor working on Faction Paradox articles. I think at this point there's more of us than there are wiki editors who have actually seen Class. With that said, when creating a page, please do not just copy and paste text from an already existing article. That's plagiarism, and a big no-no on fandom. In general we also try to keep citations at the end of paragraphs, and if there's an in-line citation, that's because we're usually citing two different statements and there's also one at the end of the paragraph. Also, all pages should have a category upon their creation, but our category system is a bit complicated for new users to understand, so don't worry too much about that one at the moment. (As a tip, source editor tends to be more helpful, I've found, but your workflow is your workflow.) As the welcome template says, we're glad to have you, and if you have any questions you can always ask an admin. (I know two of them are currently reading TBotW, and Scrooge has actually written for FP before.) I'm not one, but I'm always willing to help new users, and in general we're a friendly bunch with quite a few FP fans. Cheers. Najawin 09:49, 28 December 2022 (UTC)

The War King/Appearances

Hi there. You might want to compare your edit on The War King/Appearances to mine to clear things up. If you use rowspan, that field will cover as many rows as the number you put; for instance, you put rowspan=27 for some things even though there are only nine rows, which is one reason that it was messed up when you created it. I don't blame you, though. They're rather fiddly. Jack "BtR" Saxon 13:35, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

No problem at all. I thought I'd quickly do Dodo Chaplet/Appearances the other day since she's made so few appearances compared to other companions and it still took me an hour and a half. Jack "BtR" Saxon 10:39, 19 February 2023 (UTC)

Re: The Doctor's sonic screwdriver

I have not composed an OP, feel free to do so. To be honest I had forgotten about those sandbox pages all those months ago. As such they are not really developed to the level of pages that other users had made for the incarnations of the Master so wouldn't really be much useful. Phoenix Court

Hi, I've been really enjoying reading your Phoenix Court-related pages, it's awesome to see that series get more coverage on the wiki! Just some quick notes I'd like to share:

  1. "ref" tags are meant to indicate sources for our readers, not editing notes for other editors. If you want to leave notes to other editors like "find name", use this syntax: <!-- NOTE -->. That way it won't show up for readers.
  2. I've created redirects for the Phoenix Court novels: Marked for Life (novel), Does It Show? (novel), Could It Be Magic? (novel), Fancy Man (novel). Please link to those redirects instead of Phoenix Court (series); this way we can use Bongo's citation template, and it'll also be less confusing if and when Phoenix Court is validated and we have actual pages for the novels.
  3. Do you think we need separate subpages for this material? For instance, when I was wikifying content about Spiderweiss from a non-covered charity story, since that story was the debut appearance of Spiderweiss, I made the judgment call that this constituted a major appearance for Spiderweiss and thus the content should go on the main page with {{NCmaterial}}, not a subpage. I think the same might be true for Big Sue and the rest, so I've added a few {{merge}} templates here and there.

Looking forward to learning more about Pheonix Court through your wikification, and I hope you're well! – n8 () 14:00, 13 May 2023 (UTC)

Great! An admin needs to do the merger of the edit history, but we can merge the information ourselves. I just did it on Phoenix Court.
FYI, another source of related NC material might be Philip Purser-Hallard's Cabinet of Changes (full text online), which was released in Bafflement & Devotion with permission to use Paul Magrs' characters from Phoenix Court and The Blue Angel (although I forget which ones, if any, actually appear). Stuart Douglas's annotations might be helpful or unhelpful, idk! – n8 () 22:05, 14 May 2023 (UTC)
